EXCELLENT Based on 99 reviews Posted on Global FVerified A Delicious and Unforgettable Bogota Food Experience with Lina! From start to finish, our private food tour with La Mesa Food Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Bogotá. Lina, the owner and our guide, curated a thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully paced experience. We began with a deep dive into Bogotá’s vibrant market scene, tasting a stunning variety of local fruits — some we’d never even seen before! Lina's knowledge of Colombian produce and culinary traditions was impressive and made every bite more meaningful. From there, we sampled delicious empanadas, and later, enjoyed a comforting bowl of ajiaco, Bogotá’s iconic soup — hearty, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. But my favorite was probably the stuffed lechon. Every stop felt intentional and well-paced, with generous portions and authentic flavors. By the end, we were stuffed in the best possible way. Lina was engaging, warm, and incredibly informative, offering insights not just into the food but also the history and culture behind it.If you're a curious eater or a passionate traveler, don’t miss this tour. You’ll walk away with a full stomach and a deeper appreciation of Colombia’s culinary richness.Posted on JasonVerified Excellent tour with great guide This was an excellent tour and worth the somewhat higher price.
